Engineered specifically for the fire and
rescue industry, these ventilation saws have a number of features
that make them outstanding tools for the fire and rescue industry.
Ventilation saws should feature an advanced carbide tipped chain
and have some sort of muffler guard.
Optional equipment for a ventilation saw would be a carrying strap
and depth gauge.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to use the new ventilation saw in some pretty adverse fire conditions and it performed very well. We used it to cut a hole in almost no visibility smoke conditions and it never missed a beat. It was used until it had a total of sixteen missing teeth, it still cut very well. We put almost 2 tanks of fuel through it on the Gardner fire. A few hours later and it again worked well in extreme smoke conditions on 9th. We were on the third floor in near zero visibility and it started and performed well. It is my hope that we purchase these to replace all our Cutters Edge saws.
